03/10/2001 Left Denver at dawn, picked up US70 and followed it across the Rockies past Vail and Aspen to Grand Junction. Kept rolling past Green River to the intersection with I-15. Turned down I-15 and fetched up in St. George in late afternoon.
04/10/2001 Drove down I-15 past Las Vegas to Barstow, then picked up Highway 58 through Mojave and Tehachapi. After this the route followed 99 past Bakersfield before turning onto 46 and following this to the World Champs HQ at Lost Hills. Had dinner in Denny’s with the Edges.
